More than 150,000 foreign tourists have already spent holidays in the Bulgarian resort of Albena in the summer of 2001, the press center of the resort announced. In the summer of 2000 the number of foreign tourists was 120,000. Hotels report 30% growth of overnight stays. 18,000 tourists bought "all inclusive" packages, compared to 13,200 in 2000. The German market has a share of 55% in the tourist inflow, the press center explains. Scandinavians are 14% of the foreign tourists in Albena. The revenues of the company for 2001 are expected to reach BGN 70m or 28% than in the previous year.
