The total assets managed by investment funds registered in Bulgaria reached BGN 3.7bn as of end-March’18, up by 20.5% YoY

The total assets managed by investment funds registered in Bulgaria increased by 20.5% YoY to BGN 3.7bn as of end-March’18. Approximately BGN 1.3bn (36.8%) of the assets were managed by Bulgarian investment funds, up by 20.9% YoY. The investments in shares of the Bulgarian funds increased by 36.9% on an annual basis to BGN 548.0m, the investments in deposits added 3.5% YoY to BGN 299.7m, and the other investments grew by 17.6% to BGN 322.9m. The investments in Bulgarian securities were 68.2% of the total investments of the funds, opposed to 67.4% as of end-2017.
