The contracted funds under EU Operational Programs (excluding agricultural funds) reached 65.49% at the end of 2011, up from 58.16% at the end of November. The total budget of the OP’s for the period 2007-2013 amounts to €8 019m and the contracted funds increased by BGN 588m in the last month of 2011 to €5 252m. The most significant growth of contracted funds was observed in OP Transport, the largest program with €2 003m budget, with 86.96% contracted funds, up from 72.11% in November. The payments under EU Operational Programs reached €1 505m at the end of December or 18.77% of the total budget, up by €97m from 17.56% at the end of November. The most funds in December were paid under OP Transport (€44.9m), followed by OP Regional Development with (€28m), OP Environment (€9.5m) and OP Human Resources Development (€9.2m).
