Sept’16 retail trade down 0.2% MoM but increases 2% YoY

Sept’16 seasonally adjusted turnover in retail trade (excluding motor vehicles and motorcycles) decreased 0.2% MoM, while the working day adjusted retail trade turnover increased by 2% YoY. Retail sales of furniture and home appliances decreased 2.3% MoM, retail sales of automotive fuels declined 1.9% MoM and retail sales via phone, mail or internet as well as retail trade with computer and communication technologies decreased by 1.8% MoM. Only retail trade with clothing and shoes increased 1.3% MoM.
