Sept’16 industrial output down 0.2% MoM and up 3.3% YoY

Bulgaria's industrial production index decreased 0.2% on a monthly basis in Sept’16, after registering a 0.7% MoM increase in August, preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute reveal. The working day adjusted index increased by 3.3% YoY. On a monthly basis, production in the utilities sector decreased 1.9% (+0.5% YoY), production in the manufacturing sector increased 0.3% MoM (+4.7% YoY) and production in the mining sector flattened MoM (-1.9% YoY).
