Privatisation Agency prolonged the deadline for determining shortlisted participants in the tender procedure for the three thermal power plants in Varna, Bobov Dol and Rousse, representatives of the sell-off body said. So far 12 companies have submitted bids for participating in the tender. State is selling 100% stake in each of the three entities. Energy ministry insists on including a power consultant for the tender procedure and Privatisation Agency may accept the proposal. A consultant is required to pronounce whether long-term binding privatisation contracts (for 15 years) are the most suitable solution, representatives of the ministry explained.
