Today expires the state guarantee for deposits with DSK Bank and the bank begins to function as the other banks on the territory of this country. That means that the deposits are no longer protected by guarantees under the act on state protection of deposits with banks. Two years ago DSK savings bank was transformed into a bank. Up to now the deposits with the bank were 100% protected, now the guarantee is 95%. The total amount of the deposits stands at BGN 865 million distributed in 7 million accounts. Statistic data show that the trend for increase of the deposits with DSK Bank remains. In the second half of May the bank will start collecting foreign currency denominated deposits. The bank will also offer payment operations and sale of foreign currency. DSK Bank will maintain correspondent relations with 370 banks in 63 countries
