Bulgaria’s August’26 harmonized consumer price index /HICP/ increased by 0.8% MoM (+5.0% YoY), while the average annual HICP for the last 12 months stood at 4.1%. Prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks, which have the largest weight in the index, remained unchanged on a monthly basis (+0.9% YoY), while transport prices increased by 4.3% (+13.8% YoY). At the same time, Clothing and footwear prices decreased by 1.8% MoM, while housing and utilities prices were up by 0.3% MoM (+5.0% YoY).
