The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) has approved a 6% increase in the wholesale natural gas price to EUR 44.09/MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of October 1, 2026. The price is circa 40% lower than the current TTF index, as European natural gas futures traded around EUR 70/MWh through September.
