The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) has approved a 6.2% MoM increase of wholesale natural gas price to BGN 63.35/MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of 1 September, which came across due to the 19% MoM increase in the month-ahead TTF prices for September. The commission noted the 52.45% share of Azeri gas in the total mix for the month was essential in securing favourable price level.
