The Privatization Agency has selected Sofia-based Elpharma Inc. as preferred buyer of a 67% stake in the Sopharma Inc. pharmaceutical company, the Agency's Public Relations Department wrote in a press release Thursday. The negotiations with the prospective buyer are scheduled to last for thirty days. Sopharma is listed for targeted privatization and, therefore, no rescheduled payment will be allowed. Elpharma was selected, because it offered the highest price and the heaviest investment, the Agency said.
