The deadline for submitting offers for the purchase of 12,000 tons of unsold tobacco is to be extended till end-April, that’s by three more working days, Georgi Popov, Managing Director of Bulgartabac Holding, said. Bulgartabac Holding has been recognized as creditor of the factory in the Russian town of Belgorod. About a month ago a temporary manager was appointed there because of the factory’s huge outstanding debts to Russia’s budget. A contract has already been signed with one of the Russian companies, which will sell Bulgarian cigarettes on the Russian market.
