Chimimport Q3’16 unconsolidated net income falls 18.8% YoY (NEGATIVE)

Chimimport unconsolidated net profit fell 18.8% YoY to BGN 2.5m in Q3’16. The net income from investments decreased to negative BGN 0.2m compared to positive BGN 0.4m in Q3’15, while the net interest income declined by 23.4% YoY to BGN 3.1m. The EBIT (the earnings from the non-financial operations of the holding) came to negative BGN 0.3m compared to negative BGN 1.3m in Q3’15. 9m’16 unconsolidated net profit declined by 15.6% YoY to BGN 30.3m saved by the BGN 7m dividend income (included in net income from investments) compared to zero dividend income in the historical period. The net interest income declined by 53.6% to BGN 9.8m, while EBIT came to negative BGN 0.8m vs. negative BGN 2.1m in 9m’15 and net income from investments added 5.3% to BGN 17.1m.
