Chimimport reported Q1 2012 unconsolidated net profit of BGN 21m, up by 0.9% YoY. EPS came to BGN 0.14 (BGN 0.10 on fully-diluted basis). The profitability was sustained on the back of the BGN 1.6m growth of the earnings from operations with financial instruments while EBIT (earnings from non-financial operations of the holding) declined by BGN 1.6m.
