At the GSM, held on 22 June, with the 67% vote of the majority shareholder of CEZ Electro was approved no dividend distribution for 2020. All other shareholders voted against retaining the profit. The shareholders also voted against the authorization of the Management Board to sign an agreement with CEZ Trade for the participation of CEZ Electro as a sub-coordinator with its sub-group in the balancing group of CEZ Trade as coordinator under the free market trading license. The majority owner CEZ a.s. was not be able to exercise its voting rights on this item since it is a related party. According to the management, the participation in the balancing group of CEZ Trade (the largest balancing group in Bulgaria) saves CEZ Electro about 30% of the balancing cost.
