Car battery maker Monbat raises its 2009 forecasts

According to Monbat’s management new estimations based on the company’s performance in July, the car battery maker is now more likely to report consolidated revenues of BGN 103.5m in 2009, which represents a 8% upward revision of the expectations announced in the spring. 2009 EBITDA and net profit are forecasted at BGN 26.3m (a 14% upward revision) and BGN 18.1m (a 11% upward revision), respectively. For Q3 2009 alone the company projects unconsolidated revenues of BGN 32.9m (up 57% QoQ) and pre-tax profit of BGN 6.2m (up 59% QoQ). The cumulative nine-month revenues and pre-tax profit are seen at BGN 79.6m and BGN 13.8m, respectively.
