Business barometer polls conducted by the National Statistical Institute (NSI) over the month show an improvement of the retail trade environment in this country, the NSI announced. In industry, the NSI polls show an upward trend in the indices measuring current changes and a less encouraging trend in some future development indices. A considerable improvement of the business climate is observed in the construction sector, partly due to seasonal reasons. Business executives do not expect an upward pressure on inflation; a price fall is even expected in some transport services, the NSI said.
