New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria increased by 11.5% YoY in May’26 to 4.3k units. The Jan-May 2026 registrations reached 20.5k units, up by 5.3% YoY, data by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) reveal. Meanwhile, new car registrations in the EU increased by 3.2% YoY to 955k for the month, while YtD registrations were up by 4% YoY and reached 4.7m units. Looking at the bloc’s major markets, Italy was up by 7.6% YoY for the month, while Germany registered a 3.7% YoY growth.
