New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria surged by 51.3% YoY in Apr’24 up to 4.2k units, data by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) reveal. The 4-mo registrations reached 15.8k units, up 47.9% YoY, keeping the strongest growth among the block. In April alone, new car registrations in the EU increased by 13.7% YoY to 0.9m, while YtD registrations were up by 6.6% YoY to 3.7m units. Among the block’s largest markets, Germany and Spain both advanced by 7.8% compared to last year.
