Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations down by 0.7% YoY in Aug’21

New passenger cars registrations in Bulgaria decreased slightly by 0.7% YoY to 1.9k units in Aug’21, while registering 15.7% YoY increase to 17.6k for the 8-mo 2021, data by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) reveal.
In Jan-Aug 2021, registrations of new cars in the EU grew by 11.2% to 6.8m, while in August alone, new car registration decreased by 19.1% totalling 0.6m units. The total sales of cars during the first 8 months of the year saw the biggest increase in Italy (+30.9%), France (+12.8%) and Spain (+12.1%) compared to last year.
