On 29 of September, Bulgaria successfully placed three bond issues – EUR 1bn 4.6 years, EUR 0.75bn 8 years and EUR 0.5bn 17.9 years. The 4.6y spread was set at MS+60bps, the 8y spread was set at MS+95bps and the 17.9y spread was set at MS+160bps. According to the statement, the first one achieved 4.235% yield, the second 4.608% yield and the last one was placed at a 5.325% yield. The order book exceeded EUR 5.5bn. Note that debt issuance allowed for 2026 in the annual budget is set at EUR 10.1m. With EUR 2.5bn in Bonds placed in July and EUR 1.76bn on the domestic market, the country accumulated a total of EUR 6.51bn in debt financing year to date.
