Bulgaria’s railway carrier BDZ has terminated the procedure for supply of families of diesel and electric trains and will hold direct negotiations with the only two candidates that have filed offers: Bombardier and Siemens, the company said. The Public Procurement Act requires at least three bidders for the tender procedure to continue. Proposals will be accepted for 15 calendar days after the invitations for participation in the procedure are received. Offers will be reviewed on the third working day of submission.
