Agria’s net income increases 86% YoY to BGN 1.6m

Agria’s revenue increased 23% YoY from BGN 26.5m in H1 2007 to BGN 32.6m in H1 2008. The company’s sales in Q2 2008 alone grew over 3.5x compared to the same period last year and reached BGN 26.5m. The firm’s EBITDA margins in the first half of 2008 maintained their H1 2007 levels at approximately 10.5%. Agria’s net income in the first half of the year is BGN 1.6m, an 86% increase YoY due to the jump in sales, the firm’s stable operating margins and financial expense. Agria’s working capital grew 12% YoY to BGN 46m. Receivables jumped 80% YoY and reached BGN 10m at the end of H1 2008. To finance this increase the company increased its short-term debt 3.7x YoY to BGN 10m.
