Bulgaria’s Mar’25 harmonised consumer price index /HICP/ increased by 0.3% MoM (+4% YoY). The inflation since the beginning of the year amounted to 2.5%, while the average annual HICP for the last 12 months stood at 2.7%. Prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks, which have the largest weight in the index, registered 0.7% increase on a monthly basis (+5.5% YoY). At the same time, housing and utilities prices were up by 0.5% MoM (+6.4% YoY), communication increased by 1.3% MoM (+1.3% YoY), while transport registered 0.5% MoM decrease (+1% YoY).
